Okay, okay. I'll READILY admit it now. I'm a Batman fan. Have been since I was a kid. It certainly doesn't help that the new "Dark Knight" film is coming out as well. So, needless to say, I'm on a Batman kick these days and Finch's pencils absolutely ROCK, as far as I'm concerned. He really captures the dark, brooding mood of ol' Batty.

Couple his work with awesome inkers like :iconjpmayer: (as well as other's inks that I've had the extreme pleasure of working on), and I'm in Batman heaven.

As soon as I saw this one, I knew that I had to give it a shot. Thankfully, JP graciously provided me with the go ahead to work on this one [link] . This is the result.

it's all in the scaps...anything you want anytime.....I'll try and scan my art before I go an ruin them with crayola markers more often...

When you see wicked pencils and inks like this though, it's really hard NOT to get into Batman! ;)

I've got a couple of more in the works before I give up this Batman kick though. Maybe I'll convert ya yet! :D

Please, with the way Marvel treats their characters, convert me, convert me!

I'd love to see a variant of this pic with a different coloured sky. He blends in real well with this one, but I think it would also look great with some Miller-esque red toning to the sky.
